Stardock’s recently unveiled fantasy strategy game Elemental: War of Magic is the developer’s own internal creation but it’s no secret that the Michigan-based company originally intended to secure the sequel rights to Microprose’s 1995 game Master of Magic. (Ed. note: Please, Please Please….)

But Master of Magic ain’t the only Atari property Stardock is interested in reviving:

“I actually pitched Atari on a whole idea for a true successor to Star Control,” CEO Brad Wardell tells Gamasutra, noting that the game would follow original series developer Toys for Bob’s Star Control II rather than the Legend Entertainment-developed Star Control 3 (”We just pretend that never happened,” the CEO says of that release).

Legend of the Seeker Episode 3 has Richard and Kahlan evading Darken Rahl’s mercenaries who have found a way to track the Seeker. Legend of the Seeker Episode 3 also deals with Richard trusting local townsfolk which have started to look up to him as the savior from the bondage of Darken Rahl.

Richard Cypher is a wanted man in the Midlands and First Wizard Zeddicus Zul Zorander and Mother Confessor Kahlan Amnell must protect him lest the prophecy be averted.

Brock Lesnar is now on top of the UFC heavyweight division after stopping erstwhile champion Randy Couture at UFC 91 in the second round.

Lesnar, now 3-1, managed to connect on a right that stunned Couture and followed it up with another while sealing the deal with more rights.

Brock Lesnar shouldnt rest on his laurels though as former UFC champ Frank Mir, who defeated Lesnar with leglock back in March for his only loss so far, or Antonio Nogueria, bigger fighters than Couture, are waiting to wrest away his UFC heavyweight belt.

NCsoft has started recruiting closed beta testers for Kavatina Story, another title from Korean developers Wizet, the development studio behind Maple Story.

Kavatina Story is set in a world where sinister forces start to ransack the treasures in the world, and in order to retrieve these lost treasures, players have to go back in time in order to undo what has happened. Kavatina Story players can choose to take the role of one of three character archetypes: Ghost, Psychic and Fighter. Hmm…Reminds me of Grand Chase.
